Group Studio Classes

Studio Classes are taught in a relaxing controlled environment at the Gemini Ballroom. BB of Salsa Reno strives to make his classes entertaining and rewarding. The goal is that students of Salsa Reno will feel confident to go out to local salsa clubs in the Reno area and clubs in the Sacramento and San Francisco area for social dancing. Group Party Lessons

Party Lessons (CLICK HERE for current party locations) are taught in a in a fun environment and the goal is to break the ice, have some fun and warm up for an evening of social dancing. A combination of Studio Classes, Individual (or couple) Lessons and Party Lessons is ideal and highly recommended on your journey to learning how to Latin Dance.

What level is right for you?

 

Everyone comes to Latin Dance with different dance experience. When coming into a new program it can be difficult to know where to start. Our goal is to help you find the right level for you. If you are a new student of Salsa Reno and you have previous dance experience, please start with the beginning class and then talk with BB or a Salsa Reno staff member about placement. We have no problem with you trying out a couple of different levels in order to find the right one for you.

Intro to Latin Dance - This is for brand new students that want to explore the different Latin Dancesin the Salsa Reno curriculum.

Level 1 - Beginner (4-week course): This is a 4 - week class that covers foundational step and partnerwork

Level 2 - Technique Improver (8-week course): This class is the bridge from Beginner to Intermediate. Specific dance technique related to the particular dance will be covered.

Level 3 - Intermediate (New material every 4-weeks): This level is for people wanting to further their social dance technique and individual dance skills for that particular dance.

Level 4 - Dance Training: These classes are intended to help students proceed toward the advanced level

The Gózalo Dance Company Dance Teams (CLICK HERE for more info): The Gózalo Dance Company was created to offer dancers the opportunity to take their dancing skills to a higher level and to showcase those skills by performing in public settings.
Voted Reno's #1 Dance Company, Gózalo Dance Company strives to bring it's audience creatively choreographed Latin Dance routines to entertain non-dancers and dancers alike. Auditions are held about once every 6 months or as needed. Students interested in participating in the Gózalo Dance Company are encouraged to work their way up the skill levels of the dance classes, take Individual Lessons, the Dance Training Classes and the Student Team.

"Intro" to Latin Dance, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3

Drop-ins $15

Single

$45 per person per 4 – week course

"Early-Bird" discount

$5 discount per class for paying early (must pay by Friday before first class)

Multiple Class Discount

$5 discount per class if signing up for more than one class per month

Couples Discount

$5 discount per person for couples

Repeat Lower Levels of an evening for Free!!!
If you've paid for an upper level of Salsa, Bachata or Cumbia

on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday you get totake the lower

levels of that evening for FREE. Please be sure to fully

understand the skills being taught in the lower levels before

progressing to an upper level.!
